  3. T-FORM-94.ZIP contains QPW94TAX.WB1 AND 123TAX94.WK3 spreadsheets which
  4. are an extensive implementation of the Revenue Canada 1994 T1 General
  5. for 1994 Ontario version.
  6.  
  7. The spreadsheet was developed in Quattro Pro for Windows and the Lotus
  8. spreadsheet was saved as an option from Quattro Pro due to diferences
  9. between the color, font specifications and the desktop options you may
  10. need to modify some of these items to improve readability.
  11.  
  12. The spreadsheet was developed from the 1993 Windows version
  13. which was a major conversion from the 1991 & 1992 DOS versions.
  14.  
  15. This 1994 version includes schedules 1, 3, 4,  5, 7 & 8 and forms
  16. T657A, T936, T2017 & T664 for the election package. The spreadsheet
  17. permits what-if analysis when completing tax returns. It also provides
  18. a convenient way of storing past year's returns on disk.
  19.  
  20. The spreadsheet consists of all sections of the T1 General
  21. return along with several schedules, capital gains forms and
  22. includes Ontario Tax Credits. The introduction page provides
  23. an index to the various sections of the form, access each form
  24. by clicking on the appropriate page tab.
  25. You are expected to enter a value when you see a line number
  26. with an entry box as is typical in the Revenue Canada forms.

  30. Note: In unusual cases you may need to over ride a protected
  31. (formula/reference) cells to customize your entry, always read the
  32. instructions in the Revenue Canada tax form to locate any exceptional
  33. circumstances.
  34. The window is split to allow continual display of the "Bottom
  35. Line" thus allowing one to change values in the return and
  36. immediately see the net effect on the amount due or refunded.
